Terrain Mental Health serves the Illinois side of the Quad Cities by secure video, with no travel and no waiting room.

Rock Island and Henry county residents often face limited local psychiatric capacity and long waits, particularly for adults seeking medication management. Telehealth closes that gap without a drive to a larger metro.

Every visit is conducted by secure video, so there is no drive, no parking, and no waiting room. You will get a link before your appointment and can join from a phone, tablet, or computer somewhere private. Prescriptions are sent electronically to whichever pharmacy you use.

Because licensure is state-based, patients must be physically located in Illinois at the time of their appointment. Many Quad Cities residents split time across the river, so it is worth planning visits from the Illinois side.

Care covers anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and sleep problems for adolescents and adults, with a thorough first evaluation and real follow-up.

Common questions

Questions people ask first

I live in Iowa. Can I be seen?

Care is currently limited to patients physically located in Illinois at the time of the appointment. If you live on the Iowa side but work in Illinois, that unfortunately does not qualify — the rule is based on where you are sitting during the visit.

Do I need to travel to Peoria for an appointment?

No. All visits are by secure telehealth. The Peoria office at 2619 W. Heading Ave. is the practice's administrative address; patient care is delivered by video anywhere in Illinois.

Do you take insurance?

Insurance billing and self-pay are both handled through Headway, which verifies your benefits and shows your expected cost before the first visit.

How soon can I be seen?

Most patients are scheduled within days. You can self-schedule online at any time, or call 309-722-1425 with questions.

Ready to get started?

Self-schedule online through Headway — insurance and self-pay options, most patients seen within days.
