Terrain Mental Health bills through Headway, a platform that contracts with major insurance plans on behalf of independent mental health clinicians. When you start booking, Headway checks your benefits and shows your expected per-visit cost before you confirm anything.
Self-pay is also available, with the rate shown up front through the same booking flow. Prescriptions are sent electronically to whichever pharmacy you use, so you can price medications through your own plan's formulary.
How to check your coverage
- Open the Headway booking page.
- Enter your insurance details when prompted.
- Headway verifies your benefits and displays your expected cost per visit.
- Choose an appointment time — most patients are scheduled within days.

Service area
Terrain Mental Health sees patients throughout Illinois, with one exception: we do not serve Galesburg or communities within 25 miles of Galesburg. For telehealth, what matters is where you are physically located during the visit rather than your mailing address. If you are not sure whether this applies to you, call 309-722-1425 before booking.

Do you take Medicaid or Medicare?

What is your cancellation policy?
Please give as much notice as you can if you need to reschedule. Cancellation terms are provided through Headway when you book.
